<description><![CDATA[Must have one year recent experience in a relevant healthcare setting. High school graduate or equivalent<br>is required.   Successful completion:  of a Nursing Assistant / Patient Care Assistant Program and/or<br>2 years of recent nursing assistant experience  or graduated nursing student who completed all course<br>work and did not pass State Board exam,  or nursing student who has completed one semester of clinical<br>rotation, or Medical Corpsman , or EMT, or Paramedic, or medical personnel licensed outside the United<br>States.     Demonstrates awareness of legal issues, patient rights and compliance with the standards of<br>regulatory and accrediting agencies. Practices efficient use of supplies. Maintains a clean, safe, and<br>organized unit. Receives and processes incoming calls, patient calls and guest requests. Transports and<br>delivers items and equipment throughout the facility. Performs all other duties as assigned. The Advanced<br>Clinical Technician must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate<br>to the age of the patients served on his or her assigned unit.
